While on vacation, my friends and I stopped in a lovely, serene park that bordered on the St. Lawrence River in Quebec. A young man came in with his dog. Not sure of the breed but could have been a Labrador, considering this was Canada.
The young man proceeded to throw a Frisbee to the dog. The dog proceeded to attempt to catch the Frisbee. This went on for at least thirty minutes. The dog never tired: the owner eventually sat down and threw from that position. Once, they took a break to rehydrate. The dog never flagged, and he never once caught the Frisbee, although once he almost caught it. His perseverance was to be admired, if not his lack of canine athleticism. Cannot testify as to the gender of the dog, but it seemed a masculine exercise.
